We are a small choir but we make up in enthusiasm what we lack in numbers
We do however try to maintain a full four
part harmony in our support of the singing
of Mass and provide weekly, what we hope is
uplifting music during the communion,
whether it be traditional or
contemporary.
From time to time for special services the
choir is augmented.
Last year at our Centenary Mass in November,
15 in number, we sang All the Ends of the
World by William Boyce at the Communion,
followed by Stanford’s Te Deum in B minor to
conclude the service. Many thanks to those
extras who helped contribute to a memorable
occasion.
We are always looking for new members, all parts, any
ability if keen to learn. If you are interested please
contact Paul Bloomfield, the Organist and Choirmaster at Choir@StAugustine-Aldershot.org.uk
