FIRST BEGINNINGS

The following letter tells, in immaculate copper-plate handwriting - the very origins of the Anglican Church in North Town. Rev. West's reference to ' a remote part of my Parish' is amusing and significant.  It reflects an Aldershot attitude towards the Hamlet of North Town that prevailed until 1939 and still lingers somewhat today.
