The Nicene Creed

THE NICENE CREED

The Year of Faith gives those of us who have already entered the 'door of faith', the opportunity to rediscover for ourselves the inexhaustible riches opened up to us - riches that we can draw on over and over again if we are to be credible witnesses to our Risen Lord and lead others to crisis the threshold of that same door.

To be able to communicate our faith to others we must all surely seek to deepen our own understanding of the faith we profess.

I hope this series of teaching sermons based on the Nicene Creed will not only invigorate our own Christian believing, but also give us a renewed confidence and enthusiasm to communicate what we believe to others.
